Hello, my name is Will and I am the founder of Black Ice Plunge®
Black Ice Plunge® started with a simple curiosity: what is a cold plunge, and what is cold plunging? Originally from Iowa and now residing in St Petersburg, Florida I questioned this logic altogether!
My fitness journey started early on as a child and included Martial Arts, and Soccer as my primary sports. Martial Arts ended up being a lifestyle I continued throughout my life.
Over the past few years, I have experienced a substantial improvement in both my personal fitness and overall health, particularly since meeting my now partner Breanna. Our initial experience at a CrossFit gym marked the beginning of our collaborative training regiment. Furthermore, in early 2023, we adopted an animal-based dietary approach and a lifestyle of sobriety.
Driven by our lifestyle choices, we consistently seek new challenges. Following thorough research, including podcasts and discussions with fitness community members, cold plunging emerged as the next step. Subsequently, we found ourselves at a cold plunge wellness center for a "date night," and we have embraced the practice ever since. Heat and cold therapy have significantly contributed to our recovery and mental resilience. Building a habit of engaging in challenging activities simplifies other aspects of life.
Black Ice Plunge® was conceived with the goal of providing a more accessible, cost-effective, and hygienic alternative to existing cold-plunge solutions.
We started with a need, created a solution, and presented it in an amazing package. Our commitment to exceptional service is what makes us different. I personally oversee the design, creation, and fabrication of all our plunges, prioritizing safety and quality. Each plunge undergoes comprehensive assembly and testing before delivery, with setup included as part of the service.
